Over this week we will be sharing a little about each of the six people nominated as Hospice Austin’s Standard Bearers for 2017.
Here is a little bit about our first nominee, Director of Quality Christina Remus, from the colleague who nominated her:
“Christina Remus continually exhibits a positive attitude. She is a thorough teacher who can focus on the needed learning and give a solution based on the most current information in ways that are collaborative and flexible. She does this with respect, understanding, and the highest integrity. Even when Christina has to redirect or correct someone in a skill or task she had directed previously, she never does this in a way that demeans them, but is kind and encouraging. If she doesn’t know the correct answer, she will quickly find it. Her personal standards exceed the high behavioral standards of Hospice Austin because she embodies the greatest values any of us could hope to strive for.”
