Every month or so, I am able to tell someone who is sick, dying, can’t work, and has no insurance that they now have comprehensive care completely free to them through Hospice Austin. That our charity program will give them all medications, equipment, and care they need, and it won’t cost them a dime. And, almost every time I do, they tear up in relief.
I’m able to do that because of donations from the community which go directly to my patients. Patients who need all the help they can get.
